Types of Specialized Drainfields

Pressure-dosed drainfields use a pump to evenly distribute effluent across the entire drainfield area, improving treatment efficiency. Mound systems are built above the natural ground surface when soil depth or water table height limits traditional installation. Sand filter systems add an extra layer of treatment before effluent reaches the native soil.
